ExclusiveHuawei launches smartphone and tablet at Mobile World Congress

Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has announced a number of ‘smart devices’ at Mobile World Congress today. There’s a new slim smartphone – the Huawei IDEOS X3 – and a new tablet, along with a data card and a wireless modem.

The Android-powered Huawei IDEOS X3 will launch in the spring. It has a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It’s expected to run Android 2.3 in most markets.

ExclusiveOrange adds gesture control to its Android devices

Orange is adding new features to its Android devices. Orange Gestures – developed in-house by the Orange Group Devices business unit - lets users draw gestures on their homescreen to give fast access to applications or services.

The company is also introducing ‘smart’ wallpapers with built-in apps for its  Android-powered Orange Signature smartphones.

Chinese telecommunications manufacturer ZTE has announced a flagship Android smartphone with a 4.3-inch display screen.

The ZTE Skate uses the Android 2.3 operating system with an 800MHz processor. It also includes a 5-megapixel Bluetooth, A-GPS, hardware compass, and G-sensor.
