A website called jailbreakme.com that lets iPhone and iPad users ‘jailbreak’ their devices also introduces the opportunity for security risks, according to F-Secure.com.

Although the site itself can successfully unlock iPhones and iPads, the process it uses – exploiting a flaw in Apple’s own iOS PDF reader – could be adapted for use within malicious PDF files. F-Secure describes the site’s actions as “irresponsible” and warns that a malicious PDF file could introduce a worm that “could do anything you can do on your phone, and more”.
