Doro wins legal case over Duro brand

Following legal action by Swedish mobile phone company Doro, Polish company TelForceOne has been forbidden from manufacturing, exporting or advertising mobile phones using its DURO brand. This is a preliminary ruling referring to mobile phones with keypads that are similar to Doro designs. In addition, all Duro-branded phones are to be impounded.

Doro’s President and CEO, Jérôme Arnaud, said “I feel secure in knowing that our intangible rights are strongly protected and we will continue to defend them when needed. This is the third time this year that we have won cases against parties who have infringed upon these rights. Earlier this year, we won two injunctions in Germany with regard to design.”
