Mobile payment business iZettle has launched its service in Mexico today and has appointed former Visa executive Luis Arceo as Managing Director of its Mexican operations.
It’s the first time iZettle has ben available outside Europe.

Santander UK and mobile payment company iZettle have announced a UK partnership agreement aimed at self‑employed professionals and small businesses.
Santander Business Banking is offering customers a mobile payment package that includes iZettle’s Chip & PIN reader, which can be used with Apple and Android devices.

Apple revealed it had sold three million assorted iPad tablets in just three days, while Samsung said its Galaxy SIII smartphone had sold more than 30 million units since its launch in May.

The company introduced a beta service to the UK earlier this year.
