Santander UK and mobile payment company iZettle have announced a UK partnership agreement aimed at self‑employed professionals and small businesses.
Santander Business Banking is offering customers a mobile payment package that includes iZettle’s Chip & PIN reader, which can be used with Apple and Android devices.

Vodafone India has partnered with ICICI Bank to launch the M-Pesa mobile money transfer and payment service in India. It’s estimated that approximately 700 million people in the country have no access to conventional banking.
M-Pesa was first launched in Kenya in 2007, allowing customers to send and receive small amounts of money on mobile phones.

Person-to-person money transfers available via BBM in Indonesia
Indonesian financial institution PermataBank has joined forces with BlackBerry and mobile money specialist Monitise to launch BBM Money.
This pilot scheme will let customers set up a mobile money account from their BlackBerry smartphone and make real-time payments to any BBM contacts who have also signed up to the service.
