Samsung Galaxy S4 mini announced

Samsung Electronics has announced the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, a smaller and lower-spec version of its multi-million selling S4 smartphone.

The Galaxy S4 mini has a 4.3-inch display and runs Android v4.2.2 on a 1.7GHz dual-core processor.

Amazon introduces an easier sign-in process for third-party mobile apps and web sites

Online retailer Amazon has launched a new service called 'Login with Amazon'.

It’ll let any Amazon customer log in to mobile apps, online games and other websites with their Amazon account details. Mobile developers and web site managers will be able to incorporate Login with Amazon to save customers from creating a separate account.

Vodafone launches new competition for mobile app developers

Much-rumoured Nexus 4 White confirmed by LG

LG Electronics has officially launched the much-rumoured white version of its Android-powered Nexus 4 smartphone, which was developed in partnership with Google.

It’ll go on sale in Hong Kong from tomorrow, followed by other markets worldwide.
