57 of the UK’s top 100 brands now have a mobile-optimised website, according to the Internet Advertising Bureau UK.
That’s a 54% increase from just six months ago, when only 37 of the top 100 brands had optimised their websites for mobile.

The revenue from mobile advertising around the world is expected to reach $11.4 billion (£7.1 billion) this year, according to a new report from research company Gartner, and will hit $24.5 billion in 2016.
That means there’ll have been a 400% increase between 2011 and 2016.

Online retailers are focussed on improving the customer experience for web shopping this year, turning browsing into sales across all devices. That’s according to the 2013 State Of Retailing Online survey from retail community Shop.org and research company Forrester Research.
In fact, 51% of US retailers surveyed said their top priority for 2013 was site optimisation.
