The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that a number of recent Tesco Mobile advertisements were likely to cause "serious and widespread offence".

Newspaper ads, digital outdoor posters and a Twitter post were investigated after 52 complaints.

Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has published its annual customer satisfaction ratings for mobile networks.

Easy-to-use mobile phone pioneer Doro has revealed its latest smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2015.

The new device is called the Doro Liberto 820 Mini and uses Doro’s own user interface on top of Android v4.4.2, although customers also have access to the Google Play Store.

John Allan, one of two deputy chairmen at Dixons Carphone, has resigned from his post to take the job of chairman at Tesco plc.

Richard Broadbent, the current chairman of Tesco, is stepping down from the board on 1st March.

TalkTalk Group, which started life as part of Carphone Warehouse before demerging in 2010, has bought the Tesco broadband and fixed-line voice base from Tesco plc.

This gives it around 75,000 broadband customers and around 20,000 voice customers, which will be transferred to the TalkTalk network.
