Vodafone announces 1 million users on converged One Net business service

Vodafone's One Net service, which combines fixed-line and mobile communications for businesses, now has one million users in Europe. The One Net service allows users to answer calls on either their fixed or mobile phones, with the ability to transfer calls between any phones within the business and retrieve messages from a combined voicemail box. All calls between One Net company handsets – both fixed and mobile – are free.

Alongside the announcement of its one millionth customer, Vodafone has launched 'One Net Express' in the UK for smaller businesses. It's aimed at organisations with up to ten people, bringing landline and mobile calls together on one intelligent network with an automated switchboard and 'hunt groups' for routing calls.

Peter Kelly, Director of Enterprise at Vodafone UK, said "With our trio of unified communications solutions - Vodafone One, Vodafone One Net and Vodafone One Net Express we now have a complete family of unique, simple and effective services to help transform the communications of any size of business, deliver tangible cost savings and improve customer experience on the UK's best network."
