US mobile data revenue up 31% from last year

CTIA - The Wireless Association has published the latest figures from the US mobile industry, revealing that revenue from wireless data services jumped by 31% year-on-year to over $19.4 billion for the first half of 2009 - that's more than a quarter of total revenue for all mobile services.  It also reported that consumers now had more than 246 million data-capable devices.
