Amazon’s Fire smartphone will launch exclusively on O2 in the UK this month, having seen USA sales begin in June.
The phone, which boasts a 4.7-inch HD display and a 13 megapixel camera, has a 3D user interface. It runs Amazon’s own version of Android on a quad-core 2.2 GHz processor.
Pricing is £399.99 on a prepay tariff or free on a £33 per month two-year deal, which currently includes a year of the Amazon Prime service.
