T-Mobile launches Bluetooth ad campaign

Just a couple of weeks after new Bluetooth marketing guidelines were introduced, T-Mobile UK has said it’s running a month-long pilot scheme that’ll use Bluetooth to encourage more people into its stores. People who walk past one of six T-Mobile stores will be targeted with Bluetooth messages encouraging them to claim a free gift and promotional offers. Graphics in the shop window will prompt customers to activate the Bluetooth settings on their mobile phone. [Press release]
