Mobile web is practical for older users and fun for teens

Research company comScore says financial services sites are the most popular among European mobile customers aged 55+ while teenagers are more likely to visit social networking and entertainment sites. Their research also shows that younger users tend to access internet content more frequently than their older people. comScore says older mobile Internet users tend to favour practical sites; weather is the top site category among those aged 55 years and above, search is the most popular activity for the 35 to 44 age group and social networking is the most popular destination for subscribers under 35. All pretty much as you might expect. [Press release]
