'Vodafone People' set to join the social networking party

TechCrunch has published a couple of leaked Vodafone videos that appear to show a potential new product called Vodafone People. It seems to be based on Zyb, the social networking and contact backup company that Vodafone bought last year. There’s already a Vodafone People Twitter account that was created in March but hasn’t been used yet (and may not be official, of course!)

The news comes on the day that Orange announced its own social networking gateway. It looks as though Vodafone People will integrate Twitter, Facebook and Google’s GTalk, working across mobiles, PCs and Macs.
