Texting and browsing are almost as popular as talking

A new study from research and consultation firm Frank N. Magid Associates says the average American mobile phone user spends 44 minutes a week talking on their phone, 38 minutes texting and 39 minutes accessing a variety of content, such as news, entertainment, games and social networks.
