An App Store for The Carphone Warehouse

Another day, another app store. Hot on the heels of Apple, Nokia, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Vodafone, O2 (and arguably Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney, Peter Davy, Daniel Whiddon, Harry Hawke, Old Uncle Tom Cobley and the kitchen sink) comes The Carphone Warehouse with the SnappLife application store for the UK. SnappLife has been created by Californian mobile developer HipLogic and is exclusive to The Carphone Warehouse across Europe. At the moment it offers a small selection of free software for Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets; chargeable applications are being solicited from developers and will be offered in the future.
