SitexOrbis welcomes its first 15 lone worker protection resellers

SitexOrbis says it now has 15 organisations reselling its lone worker protection services in the UK since introducing its partnership scheme in October 2009.

The company's Code 5 service runs on any network and on almost any mobile phone. SitexOrbis currently protects 10,000 lone workers by offering a speed dial or hardware button that connects the user's mobile phone to the company’s UK-based alarm receiving centre. Operators then assess the situation and will summon appropriate support to the incident. All calls are recorded, which has helped achieve several prosecutions.

Simon Wainewright, head of SitexOrbis lone worker protection, said "The strategy is to provide partners with a high-profile differentiator and a ‘sticky’ product that is good for customer retention and an excellent revenue generator. The package is easy to sell, implement and manage for customers. Plus we are taking a collaborative approach to ensure that partners and their customers have all the support they need, including presentations and implementation tools accessible via our secure e-commerce portal and website."
