Orange partners with Deezer for exclusive mobile music streaming service

DeezerOrange has announced an exclusive partnership with French music streaming brand Deezer. It’s launched Deezer Mobile in the UK as an exclusive service for Orange ‘pay monthly’ users. Customers on the ‘Panther’ price plan will have ad-free mobile music streaming included as part of their tariff.

In addition, Deezer is also offering a combined ‘Premium+’ desktop and mobile service for £9.99 per month.

Mark Foster, MD of Deezer UK, said “Deezer has always aimed to put fans in control of their own music – whether at a desk or on the move. We’re delighted to be partnering with Orange to offer a truly flexible mobile music experience, and look forward to seeing all the tapping feet on the tube.”

Deezer has 13 million tracks available to its users, along with 30 genre-based radio channels and 30,000 artist-based radio channels. The company currently has 20 million users worldwide and more than 1.2 million premium subscribers. Orange and Deezer have been working together in France since July 2010.
