The Motorola RAZR i is equipped with a single-core Intel Atom chip delivering speeds of up to 2GHz. Its 4.3-inch display almost runs from edge to edge, protected by an aluminium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass. In addition, there’s a KEVLAR casing on the back and a splash-guard coating to defend the device against moisture.

Other features include an 8-megapixel camera and near field communication (NFC) technology. Dimensions are 122.5mm x 60.9mm x 8.3mm.

Jim Wicks, senior vice president for Consumer Experience Design at Motorola Mobility, said “Together with Intel, we’re redefining what people can expect from a mobile device. A camera that launches in an instant, Web pages that load blazingly fast and a device that’s the perfect balance of screen size and fit in hand,” said . “RAZR i delivers just that when you put an Intel-fast processor in a beautifully designed phone and add in extra long battery life.”

The Motorola RAZR i will be available in the UK from October.
