Europe wants mobile transmitters kept away from children and hospitals

The European Parliament has adopted a report that recommends GSM antennas and high-voltage power lines are kept away from schools, crèches, retirement homes and health care institutions. It’s all a bit vague; the report talks of keeping them “a specific distance determined by scientific criteria” and acknowledges that “the scientific community has reached no definite conclusions”.
