Text message caused fatal crash

Paul Cox from Devon has been jailed for nine years after crashing his car while arguing with his wife via text message. The judge said Cox, who had been drinking a few hours earlier, was "distracted by your mobile phone retrieving a text message at the very minute the accident occurred". He killed another driver when his car crossed on to the wrong side of the road last November. [Source: BBC News]
