Sony PlayStation mobile phone on the radar again

Back in September 2007 – and again in June 2008 - we reported that Sony Ericsson wanted to make a PlayStation-branded mobile phone. Earlier in 2007 they’d patented something that looked rather like a PSP crossed with a mobile phone. Then in January this year we heard that Sony wanted to do it themselves. Now Sony Ericsson’s president, Hideki ‘Dick’ Komiyama, has said a PlayStation mobile “could happen” when interviewed by the Financial Times. [FT.com]
