Sony Ericsson goes underground to promote tennis

Chamartin metroLast week Sony Ericsson was in Rome with Ana Ivanovic and Victoria Azarenka, encouraging them to play tennis on the roof of the Villa Miami to promote the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. The company's now taken Elena Dementieva and Caroline Wozniacki to Madrid. But a glamorous outdoor location wasn't set aside for them - instead a court was created underground at the Chamartin metro station. Previous stunts have seen tennis played on water, on a desert island and on cars. [Rome; Madrid]
