Spotify music service linked to 3 (again)

A couple of weeks ago, NMA.co.uk reported that music streaming service Spotify was talking to 3 UK about offering its service to the network’s customers. There’s already an Apple iPhone application in the approval process and an Android application under development.

Now there’s been further confirmation of the apparent interest from 3 because Li Ka-Shing, chairman of 3’s owner Hutchison Whampoa, has just invested in Spotify and has arranged for the CEO of its INQ handset manufacturer to sit on Spotify’s board. Spotify on 3… or Spotify on INQ?  We’ll just have to wait and see.
