Google buys mobile advertising company AdMob

Google is buying three-year-old mobile display advertising company AdMob – described as the world’s largest mobile advertising marketplace - for $750 million. Perhaps slightly defensively, Google points out that the mobile advertising space will remain highly competitive with more than a dozen mobile ad networks competing against its new acquisition.
