SpinVox starts to shut down consumer accounts

Voice-to-text service SpinVox, which was bought by rival Nuance at the end of last year, is telling its UK consumers that their accounts will expire within seven days. It's a surprisingly swift end to the SpinVox consumer service, although the company's developer programme and network operator partnerships are unaffected. [Sources: mocoNews.net; Techworld.com]

VoxSciences operates a similar service to Spinvox and would welcome any ex Spinvox customers. You can register for a free trial at www.voxsci.com

I was a bit surprised when I got the message from SpinVox as it is a great and useful facility. Please to say - that VoxScience was so simple to set up - and seems to be equally as good.....and the web site is very simple to use......
