HTC sued over Visual Voicemail patent

Klausner Technologies has filed a lawsuit against HTC, claiming that HTC has infringed its Visual Voicemail patents. The company owns 25 Visual Voicemail patents in the US, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

The lawsuit follows HTC's announcement of its MyTouch 3G mobile phones. It launched a similar complaint against RIM and Motorola last year.

Judah Klausner, Klausner Technologies’ President, said "Intellectual property gives meaning and structure to the greatest resource of all – human imagination. Songwriters collect royalties for the songs they compose, playwrights for the plays they write and inventors for the patents they create."
