Pieter Knook, Director of Vodafone Internet Services, is leaving

The departure of Vodafone's Director of Internet Services, Pieter Knook, is attracting a considerable amount of attention in the media today.

Mr Knook was recruited from Microsoft in March 2008; his business unit was created shortly before he arrived, with the aim of providing and delivering 'consumer web services such as IP communications, mobile internet access and selected content categories through mobile devices'.
