Vodafone moves further into telecom expense management

Vodafone Global Enterprise – the part of Vodafone that manages the communications needs of larger multinational customers – has acquired two telecom expense management companies: Quickcomm, based in Australia, and TnT Expense Management from the USA. It says these two acquisitions will propel Vodafone into being a leading TEM company for multinational organisations. The total deal has been valued at $9.7 million (just over £6 million).

Quickcomm will continue to sell and provide ongoing support for its own products, as well as becoming part of the Vodafone Telecoms Management solution.

Nick Jeffery, CEO of Vodafone Global Enterprise, said "Our 570 multinational corporate customers tell us that they want Vodafone Global Enterprise to help them reduce cost, increase visibility and improve management control across their global footprint. These acquisitions will benefit our customers by providing even greater visibility and control of their fixed and mobile spend and this, in turn, will further the business case for multinationals to adopt unified communications solutions."
