Outsourcery focuses on unified comms by selling its Vodafone business to Daisy Group

Unified communications service provider Outsourcery has sold its Vodafone mobile voice and data business to Daisy Group plc

Daisy Group paid around £12 million for Hamsard 3155 Limited, the holding company of Outsourcery. Outsourcery’s cloud-based services and connections via the O2 network will continue to be available through a new company called Outsourcery Hosting Limited.

Simon Newton, Outsourcery’s joint CEO, said “Our aim is to build on our current successes, to create the UK’s leading Cloud Services Provider for our customers and Channel Partners.  We are also excited to be working more closely with O2 to provide mobile voice and data solutions for the next generation of mobile, which will be increasingly integrated with Cloud-based unified communications solutions.”

Matthew Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Daisy Group plc, said “Outsourcery represents a strong strategic fit for the Group, bolstering our mobile division through its enhanced skill set and experience. This acquisition makes Daisy Vodafone's largest mobile managed service provider in the UK.”
