O2 creates YouTube channel to provide mobile technology support

O2 UK has announced the expansion of its in-store ‘Guru’ technical help service to the internet. O2 Guru TV is a YouTube video channel offering advice that helps customers get the most from their mobile technology.

The free service is open to everyone and currently includes over 400 videos, with over 50 new videos being added every month.

Sally Cowdry, O2’s Marketing Director, said “O2 Gurus are our most passionate and knowledge experts and can translate complex gadgets into something that everyone can easily understand. We know how much customers value our in store Gurus and with the launch of O2 Guru TV we’re making it even easier for anyone to get technical help and advice from O2.”

The in-store O2 Guru service was launched last year. It currently employs 150 Gurus in O2 shops across the UK and is due to expand to over 350 staff by the end of this year.
