Samsung says business software giant SAP AG has selected its Galaxy S II smartphone and Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet as an option for employees; the first time Android-based smartphones and tablets have been deployed by SAP.

The two companies also have been working together to optimise security on Samsung Android devices, with SAP’sSybase Afaria 7.0 mobile device management system now offering a number of management functions including device tracking, remote wiping and encrypted email.
