India contemplating jail for mobile phone rudeness

A member of the public who wants to outlaw mobiles at funerals and temples has won support from the Indian parliament. Gurjit Singh, the man who started the petition, also wants mobile phone jammers deployed on school buildings and wants to ban cameraphones. [Source: TimesOnline.co.uk]
