Ofcom proposes new mobile termination rate scheme

Ofcom has made mistakes previously when setting mobile termination rates… so it’s determined to get things right this time. It’s published a review of these inter-network charges to determine how it’ll set rates from 2011 to 2015. There are six choices, ranging from maintaining the current system to introducing a radical system where each network would cover all costs and wouldn’t charge other networks.
