Appy Birthday App Store
The Apple App Store is one year old on 11th July 2009. Apple has created a special App Store page – and plenty of commentators are also celebrating the anniversary. There have been over a billion applications downloaded since the store launched; over 50,000 iPhone and iPod Touch apps are currently available to download.
