Microsoft app store still on target for Autumn launch

It’s definitely been a week for app store stories, with announcements from LG, Apple, GetJar… and now Microsoft. Microsoft’s application store – the Windows Marketplace – is getting closer to launch. It’s inviting developers to submit applications from 27th July and is on track to launch on Windows Mobile 6.5 in the autumn, with Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 compatibility following by the end of the year.
