Apple iPhone software flaw to be fixed today

The iPhone operating system flaw revealed this week at the Black Hat security conference has now been patched by Apple. O2 says users will be able to download the new software from today; it prevents iPhones from being ‘taken over’ after receiving a malicious text message. [Sources: BBC News; Apple support]
