26% of adults interested in buying Palm Pre

26% of adults interviewed by research company TNS Global say they’ll definitely or probably buy the Palm Pre, which is launched on Friday by O2. The figure is slightly higher for existing O2 customers. That’s considerably more than the 16% who planned to buy the iPhone when it was launched in 2007. TNS also reports that 32% of respondents on other networks would be prepared to switch networks in order to buy the Palm Pre. [Sources: Cellular-News.com; Telecoms.com]
