Orange UK sells 30,000 iPhones in first day

Orange says it’s sold over 30,000 Apple iPhones today – the first day the device has officially been available in the UK on more than one network. Reports from O2 in 2007 suggested there’d been 8,000 first-day sales of the original iPhone.
