We're talking to Shazam CEO Andrew Fisher in this week's podcast. Andrew explains the technical background to the service and then goes on to talk about the company's new mobile applications, its relationship with the music industry, its successes (including helping Mint Royale to the top of the charts) and its plans for the future.

Shazam has been used by over 50 million people – currently growing by around 500,000 new users per week - and has 8 million music tracks on its database. It's available in over 150 countries, identifies 2 million tracks every day and is the world's largest iTunes reseller on mobile devices.
