Android-powered Lenovo LePhone heading for China

Computer manufacturer Lenovo has announced a new smartphone called LePhone. It's designed for for the Chinese WCDMA market, so we're not necessarily going to see it in Europe, and it uses a customized version of the Android operating system that Lenovo has called 'OPhone'. Like the Google Nexus One, the LePhone uses Qualcomm's 1GHz processor and has a 3.7-inch touchscreen display. There's also a docking connector that lets you attach a QWERTY keyboard, turning it into a clamshell device. [Sources: CNET.com; PCPro.co.uk]
