O2 offers UK customers a fixed-line home phone service

Slightly later than expected, O2 has launched its 'Home Phone' service to customers who use its UK fixed-line broadband service. The service was originally announced in January, with a March 2010 launch anticipated.

O2 Home Phone, which involves switching from an existing BT line, provides unlimited evening & weekend UK calls for £9.50 per month or unlimited anytime UK calls plus some international calls for £12.50 per month. (Terms and conditions apply).

This means customers will be able to receive home telephone and broadband service including line rental from just £17 per month.
