Sony Ericsson plans Android 3.0 gaming smartphone, says report

Gadget website engadget.com has an exclusive report that claims Sony Ericsson is planning a new Xperia smartphone that'll run Android 3.0 and will probably also carry PlayStation branding.

They anticipate a slide-open handset with game controls that echo the PSP – and say it could be available as early as October 2010. Expect a WVGA screen that's around 4 inches across, a 5 megapixel camera and a 1GHz Snapdragon chip.
