ZTE's results show 45% increase in revenue from Europe and USA

Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE Corporation has announced interim financial results for the first half of 2010. Operating revenue increased by 10.9% year-on-year to $4.524 billion (around £2.9 billion), with almost a fifth of this coming from European and US markets. That's a year-on-year increase in revenue contribution from Europe and the USA of 45%. International revenue rose 19.6% year-on-year to $2.246 billion, accounting for 49.7% of total operating revenue.

ZTE's net profit was up 12% to $129.143 million.
