MeeGo device chief quit last week, say reports

MeeGoAri Jaaksi, Vice President of MeeGo devices at Nokia, has apparently resigned. Press reports note that he quit last week after 12 years with the company. Nokia says his departure won't affect MeeGo’s development schedule; a MeeGo device is expected by the end of this year.

The Linux-based MeeGo OS was announced in February when Intel's Moblin platform joined Nokia's Maemo.
