AT&T to spend almost $2 billion on Qualcomm's old FLO TV spectrum

Over in the United States, AT&T has agreed to purchase spectrum licenses in the ‘lower 700 MHz’ frequency band from Qualcomm for $1.925 billion. The spectrum, currently used by Qualcomm for its FLO TV service in the USA, will form part of AT&T’s 4G mobile broadband service.
