Location-sharing app Glympse reaches 1 million users and raises more funding

Glympse, which launched its location-sharing app as a public beta two years ago, says it’s just passed 1 million users and has also raised $7.5 million in funding.

Glympse lets users share their location for a specified period, allowing friends to see where they are or to follow real-time movements.

Bryan Trussel, co-founder and CEO of Glympse, said “This funding will play a key role in achieving our ambitious growth plans. Our plans for new products and features will strengthen our mission to provide a simple and sleek way for our growing user base to share location.”
