iPhone 4S dismantled and photographed

Mark Bridge writes:

The Apple iPhone 4S launches in the UK today - but the self-repair chaps at iFixit.com have already acquired one and have disassembled it. Everything seems to be very much as expected, despite suggestions that Siri might provide distractions along the lines of “Number five is alive - no disassemble me!”

Overall, iFixit gives the iPhone 4S a Repairability Score of 6 out of 10, where 10 is easiest to repair. They say it’s mainly little held together with screws and some adhesive, with the rear panel and battery both easy to remove if you have the right equipment.
