Amazon to follow Google by offering mobile books

Hot on the heels of Google's announcement that it's making e-books available for mobile phone users, Amazon has confirmed that electronic books for its Kindle reader are also going to be available for mobiles. Amazon didn't give details of dates or of the number of titles it would offer; there are currently around 230,000 books available for Kindle. [Source: NYTimes.com]
