Samsung expands tablet range and creates tablet-sized Galaxy Note device

The Samsung Galaxy Note, which was introduced last year as a smartphone with a 5.3-inch display, has now been launched in tablet form. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 has a 10.1-inch screen and, like the previous model, is equipped with a pen that’ll work with the touch-sensitive screen. It runs Android v4.0 on a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

Alongside the Note, Samsung has also launched its GALAXY Tab 2 series of tablets. There’ll be 7-inch and 10.1-inch versions of both WiFi-only and 3G+WiFi tablets in the shops from next month.
